Guest reviews of Hotel du Phare, in Mérignac

We stayed there on December 23, 2025, for two nights. This hotel had very recently become a Best Hotel. We received an extremely warm welcome from Léa, who was very friendly and professional. The superior rooms weren't available yet, but the one we had was perfectly adequate with a large screen TV, excellent bedding, and a coffee maker.
The only minor drawback was the toilet being in the bathroom, which was a bit small. But it's a small detail, and we didn't spend much time in that room!
We didn't go to the restaurant, as it was closed at the time.
In summary: modern rooms and superb bedding
excellent staff who were attentive to our comfort
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate
The best part: a free charging station for guests!
We have definitely become fans of this hotel and will gladly return.

The hotel is very well located in a quiet area, the rooms are very, very clean. It was a short but very pleasant stay. The staff were really kind and attentive. 👍🏼 I will definitely return and I highly recommend it. 👍🏼

A spacious accessible room with only one drawback: a desk that wasn't deep enough, but the staff provided me with another table. A friendly and professional team. Good quality food.
